Who are we?
SHN Publishing are a fully-registered and insured company with a European tax number and European VAT (Value Added Tax) number. We are are also members of both the Federation of Small Businesses (United Kingdom) and the BG ETEM (Germany).
What we do:
We specialize in helping new authors who otherwise struggle to attract the big mainstream publishers to their works.
How we do it:
In most circumstances we attach our new and previously unpublished authors on our Print on Demand circuit that is backed up with a wide marketing template.
Why and when do you charge for publishing costs?
First-time authors or even authors who have used Print on Demand resources, previously. It would be unthinkable for us to produce books where there is a risk of non-profitable return. Only in exceptional circumstances do we publish for first-time authors or unknown authors without charging the appropriate publishing costs.
Why and when do you not charge publishing costs?
For prominent authors of books. This might not necessarily be a prominent author, as such but let´s say someone in the media who has the potential to sell in a quantity that is both marketable and profitable.
