Introduction:
Book publishing costs can range from a few dollars/pounds/Euros to thousands. For many authors who have found it difficult to attract the mainstream publishing houses we have a superb package and option plan that we are sure you will find extraordinarily comfortable. You've probably heard this before but no more rejection and frustration. Those dejected worrying days should well be behind you.
Why and When we Charge:
First-time authors or even authors who have used Print on Demand resources, previously. It would be unthinkable for us to produce books where there is a risk of non profitable return. Only in exceptional circumstances do we publish for first-time authors or unknown authors without charging the appropriate publishing costs.
Why and When we Don´t Charge:
For prominent authors of books. This might not necessarily be a prominent author, as such but let´s say someone in the media who has the potential to sell in a quantity that is both marketable and profitable.
Manuscript Terms:
To submit your manuscript you must send a word.doc or txt editor attachment (virus scanned). Please do not send any images at this stage. Only the text attachment is required at this point.
You will be in the understanding that when you submit a word.doc or txt editor file your text contents can and may be formatted into proper book size so any pages and table of contents you included in your draft may change due to your manuscript being converted from a large size document you send to us into the real book size we recommend for your book. In other words; your page margins may differ from the manuscript you constructed in normal word or txt to that of your proposed or recommended actual book size.
Rules for submitting Manuscript:
Please send your manuscript as text and any images/illustrations/graphics etc must be sent in a different file. To show where you want your image in your manuscript please insert in red the file name of your image. Example: <image001here<
Please note, clip art is not acceptable unless they are proper Photoshop images or of good quality. Microsoft clip arts are not acceptable. SHN Publishing will recommend replacements and will supply suitable replacements as where and when agreed.
Only send your creative works when you agree that the works you send (my manuscript) are the work(s) you created and you are the copyright holder or/and you have the legal binding rights/permission to use/send the attached material(s). Images/illustrations/graphics etc as text have the same terms and rules.
SHN Publishing will not disclose or forward your manuscript attachment to any other party. Your manuscript is only stored by us on acceptance that we engage in our business agreement.
